From October 25th 2012 to March 17th 2013, at Palazzo Reale, in Milan, the interesting exhibition: “Constantine 313 AD” will be held. In 313 AD, in Milan, one of the “Capitals” of the Roman Empire, the two Augusti, Licinius and Constantine, promulgated, with an Edict of enormous importance, the freedom to practice any religion. Religious persecution ended and opened a new Era of wisdom and tolerance began. The Exhibition is divided into six sections, reporting the importance of Mediolanum (Milan) and Constantine, in the profound transformation of the Empire. The Army, the Court and the Church are three basic elements of the Exhibition. Another important section is dedicated to Helena, holy and charismatic mother of Costantine.
