The exhibition “the secret rooms of Vittorio Sgarbi” is on stage until February 28th in Cortina d’Ampezzo, at the House of the Rules ( Casa delle Regole ), a former school, which later became the headquarters of Ampezzo’s familiar Communions, which have managed for centuries the territories around Cortina, and today also hosts a Museum of modern art. The exhibition Cavallini-Sgarbi is dedicated to Mrs. Rina Cavallini, mother of the famous art critic Vittorio Sgarbi, who during his lifetime bought many works of Renaissance art of great importance, that contribute significantly to the Vittorio’s great collection. You can admire, among the more than one hundred works exposed, the splendid works (drawings, paintings and sculptures) by Guercino, Artemisia Gentileschi, Lotto, Cagnacci, Pisano and many others.
