In the Florentine Renaissance, full of important painters such as Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Leonardo, Filippino Lippi and many others, the painter Piero di Cosimo, son of a blacksmith, made his apprenticeship in the studio of Cosimo Rosselli. Giorgio Vasari, in the biography of the painter, described him as shy and lover of nature and solitude. In his extraordinary works unusual landscapes and wild and fantastic scenes are observable.
