The charming, seventeenth-century Baroque of the Marches is gorgeously shown in a major exhibition in Osimo and Loreto, from June 29th to December 15th 2013 and looked after by the important expert and art critic Vittorio Sgarbi. There is a route in the city of Osimo and another along the places where the best artists of that period used to work . Many important names on display: Bernini, Guercino, Vouet, Preti, Reni, Rubens, Solimena, Warriors, Cantarini, Sassoferrato and especially Maratta (a very famous painter from Camerano who lived in 1600), who have worked or belonged to these places. An imaginary path from the coast until reaching the hinterland within the Conero Park. The Cities of Osimo, Ancona, Senigallia, Pesaro, Osimo, Fano, Fabriano, Sassoferrato, Serra San Quirico and Loreto are the ancient places where the artistic process of this Baroque took place. Turning to Osimo you can admire the beautiful Baroque Palaces and Churches, where there are paintings, tapestries, sculptures, ornaments, jewels and holy relics.
