Giotto da Bondone, who lived between 1267 and 1337 AD, has been a painter and architect, as were many artists at his times. In his paintings he gave ( first painter to do that ) physiognomy and body mass to the human figures and perspective to the scenarios, breaking the previous Bizantine artistic tradition and pioneering the amazing Renaissance art.
